Over Fifties

Kim Kersey
The Round Pen Over Fifties Ministry is designed to celebrate life in older adults.
This ministry is to show the love of Christ through game and fellowship nights. These get-togethers are loaded with good food, lots of fun games and tons of wonderful fellowship. According to the Bible, older Christians have a special role in articulating God’s vision for the church. Moreover, older adults within the church have a special call to make sure that younger people know about the work of God, so faith is sustained in the future. It’s very important to maintain a healthy life when you’re over fifty. Fellowship with other people can do just that.
Young Adults

Our vision for the Young Adult’s Ministry is to teach the word of God and how to live for Him.
We want all Young Adults to realize that being spiritually successful has nothing to do with their age, but has everything to do with their relationship in Jesus Christ. God is on the move to reveal Himself to you, and to your calling.

Youth Group
Energetic, spontaneous, loving, loud, loyal, adventurous, caring, utter craziness, family. These are just a few words that describe our Youth Group.
We strive to reach the hearts of all teenagers by teaching them the whole Bible and the truth in the Bible. Our typical Wednesday night consists of worship, preaching, announcements, and then crazy games! We believe in sending our Youth out into the world with the knowledge to turn down temptations and hold onto their faith no matter what. Our Youth Group is covered by Psalm 91 and most know it by heart. It is our brand.
Pre-Teen Group

ROUND PEN Men’s Ministry: The Round Pen Men’s Ministry is for the men of the church.
This particular group is currently part of the Broncs’ class encompassing ages 8 and up. Once our new building is completed, we will meet as our own small group of pre-teens with just students ages 8-12. These kiddos meet on Sundays after church announcements and have various activities and community-service projects to develop their servitude and assist the teachers to help give back and lead within our church family. We have a special summer camp for pre-teens that we attend annually, and this group is in charge of running the annual Redneck Water Park, which they host to raise funds for camp.

Within our Children’s Ministry, we serve all kids under the age of 13; once students reach 13 years of age, they progress to our Youth Ministry.
We have a Nursery that is open every Sunday for newborns up to age 3. Once students are 4, they move on to the Mutton Buster class with other kids until the age of 7. Our Broncs’ class is for our oldest kiddos from ages 8-12. We meet every Sunday and have our own church service in various classrooms.

Our Pre-Teens’ Ministry is a fairly new ministry born out of the Children’s Ministry. We are developing this group of children from 8 years of age up to 12 years of age, who are developing various skills and general knowledge of Christ to prepare them for moving up into our Youth Ministry.
