Our Beliefs
We uphold and teach the entirety of God’s word to maintain balance within the body of Christ. (John 4:24) God is a Spirit, so worship must be in spirit and truth.
The Bible is regarded as the inspired Word of God and serves as a guide for faith and behavior. According to 2 Timothy 3:15-17, Scripture provides wisdom for salvation, teaches truth, corrects mistakes, and prepares believers for good works.
The Godhead is described as one entity in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:10 states believers are made complete in Christ, sharing in the fullness of the Godhead, who is above all authority. 1 John 5:6-8 affirms Jesus is God’s Son, revealed through water (baptism), blood (crucifixion), and the Spirit, with these three witnesses agreeing.
Salvation and Baptism
Salvation of man comes ONLY from accepting Jesus as Savior and being spiritually born again. (Acts 4:12) There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. (Romans 10:9-10) If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. (John 3:16) For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
We believe Water Baptism is by submersion. (Matthew 28:19) Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38) Peter replied, each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit
Jesus instructed his followers to spread the gospel worldwide, promising salvation to believers and signs like speaking in new tongues and healing (John 16:15-18). He assured them that the Father would send the Spirit of truth to be with them always (John 14:16-17). Believers are encouraged to pray in the Holy Spirit to strengthen their faith (Jude 20). Empowered by the Holy Spirit, they would serve as witnesses everywhere (Acts 1:8), demonstrated when the disciples spoke in other tongues (Acts 2:4). This promise of the Holy Spirit is extended to all whom God calls (Acts 2:32-33,39).
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit remain relevant today, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12. Paul emphasizes that spiritual gifts come from the same Spirit, and only through the Holy Spirit can one proclaim “Jesus is Lord.” Different spiritual gifts exist, but all have a single source.
Complete prosperity—spiritual, mental, physical, and financial. (John 10:10) The thief seeks to harm, but my purpose is to give a full and satisfying life.
The work of the ministry is intended to reflect the example set by Jesus. According to Acts 10:38, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing those oppressed by evil, for God was with him.” Furthermore, John 14:12 states, “Anyone who believes in me will do the works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to the Father.”
Marriage
We believe that Marriage is between a natural born male and a natural born female. (Gen. 2:21-24) And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs and closed the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man. Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
(Ephesians 5: 22-33) Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So, husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless, let each one of you love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
